Mankato Loyola 68, Sleepy Eye 61

SLEEPY EYE — Mankato Loyola defeated Sleepy Eye 68-61 in a nonconference boys basketball agme on Friday.

Rombert Romberg led the Indians with 20 points and five rebounds, while Brayden Heiderscheidt had 15 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Braylon Nelson added 12 points and five rebounds.

Sleepy Eye (13-13) awaits playoff seeding for its next game.

Wabasso 94, Lester Prairie 61

WABASSO — Wabasso clinched a share of the Tomahawk Division title with a 94-61 win over Lester Prairie on Friday and will play Nicollet in the Tomahawk-Valley Conference Championship game.

Brayden Guetter led the Rabbits with 24 points, while Caden Frericks had 19 points and 15 rebounds. Jayden Remiger added 10 points and three rebounds with three steals.

Wabasso (22-3) hosts the championship game on Tuesday.

MVL 89, LSH 77

LE SUEUR — Minnesota Valley Lutheran defeated Le Sueur-Henderson 89-77 in a South Central Conference boys basketball game on Friday.

Pierson Brau led the Chargers with 33 points and five assists, while Ethan Schauland had 13 points and five assists. Eli Schauland had 12 points, Blake Sexton had 11 points and five rebounds, and Connor Bode had 10 points and five assists.

MVL (15-9) plays at Maple River on Tuesday.

New Ulm 74, Central 41

NORWOOD YOUNG AMERICA — New Ulm cruisded by Central Public 74-41 in a nonconference boys basketball game on Friday.

Levi Hopp led the Eagles with 20 points, while Mitchell Hopp had 14 points. Zach Hubbard added 10 points.

New Ulm (12-12) hosts Kasson-Mantorville next Friday.

Springfield 82, TMB 49

SPRINGFIELD — Springfield rolled Tracy-Milroy-Balaton 81-49 in a nonconference boys basketball game on Friday.

Madden Lendt led the Tigers with 29 points and 12 rebounds, while Bryan Buerkle had 20 points and 14 rebounds. Brecken Heiling had 14 points and four rebounds, while Parker Kuehn added 10 points and four rebounds.

Springfield (19-6) hosts New Ulm Cathedral on Tuesday.
