The New Ulm fifth-grade boys took first place this weekend at the NUBBA tournament. They started out hot with a 45-28 win over Glencoe Black. Next, they took on Fairmont Red and came away with a 42-28 victory. In the championship game it was back and forth until a 12-point run led them to a 37-23 win over Marshall Black. They travel to Marshall on Feb. 21 for their final tournament of the NUBBA season.
