MANKATO — New Ulm placed fifth out of eight teams at the Section 2A Gymnastics Meet on Friday.

Sophia Berger led New Ulm in all-around score with a 32.725, good for 13th. Berger placed 11th on beam (8.55), while Alaina Blomberg placed 14th on beam (8.3). Karli Schwab and Ainsley Tess tied for 13th on vault (8.75), and Aubrey Romsdahl placed 15th on bars. Avarey Sellner placed 14th in the floor routine (9.15) and Romsdahl placed 15th in floor (9.025).

Mankato East won the meet with a 145.975 score.
