ST. PAUL — R.J. Perry was voted the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week (Jan. 19- Jan. 25).

At the Macalester meet on Saturday, Perry once again broke his previous MLC Indoor record, setting the new MLC men’s shot put record of 15.58m, which gave him fifth place out of 43 throwers. Perry also took 12th in the weight throw (14.42 meters).

Perry and the rest of the MLC Indoor Track and Field team will be back at it this weekend January 30-January 31 for a meet at St. Olaf College.
