Springfield Tigers senior Bryan Buerkle has worked himself back from an early knee injury that saw him miss the first seven games of the boys basketball season. He recently passed 1,000 points for his career during a home win over BOLD on Monday that saw him score 22 points.

Q: What is your

favorite restaurant?

A: Chipotle.

Q: Who is your favorite basketball player?

A: Steph Curry.

Q: What is your favorite band/musical artist?

A: Alex Warren.

Q: What is your favorite video game?

A: Fortnite. But if I’m with my brother or dad, I like to play some Madden.

Q: What is the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

A: I’ve got two. Two things you can control are your effort and attitude. And then, I can do all things, Philippians [4:13].
