This past weekend, the New Ulm Rolling Thunder Youth Wrestling team attended the Rumble on the Red Wrestling Championships in Fargo, ND.

This tournament is one of the largest wrestling events in the country. Held last Friday, Saturday & Sunday January 2-4, 2026 @ the Fargodome in Fargo, ND. The tournament has 24 mats running continuously for 3 days and hosting almost 2000 Varsity/JV/Girl wrestlers, 28 youth dual teams and 1100+ youth individual wrestlers. The Rolling Thunder K6 Team went 3-3 placing 12th out of 28 teams. Wrestling teams from Minnesota, North Dakota, & Wisconsin. The day prior to the tournament, the Rolling Thunder wrestling team was able to hold a practice at MSU-Moorhead.
