Update to the Top 50 Scoring list … again

Two more players have been added to the Top 50 scorers in the New Ulm area. 1995 New Ulm Cathedral graduate Stephanie Klaviter and 2018 Sleepy Eye grad Madi Heiderscheidt both qualify for the list and were erroneously missed in the initial printing of the list in the 2025 Winter Preview. Klaviter finished with 1,694 career points, good for 46th in the area, while Heiderscheidt scored just one point less, good for 47th. With the addition of those two, 2016 Nicollet graduate Emily Skrein and 1998 Springfield grad Shauna Sturm were both bumped off the list.

New Ulm’s Brooklyn Lewis continues to be on pace to make the list, as after Friday’s game, she sits at 1,607 career points, just 55 short of 2001 MVL graduate Dan Unke for 50th all time in the area. Cedar Mountain’s Aubrey Steffl will look to be the 19th player in area history to cross 2,000 career points as the Cougars host Nicollet on Monday. Steffl needs 21 points to cross the threshold.

Starting at $4.50/week.
