Wabasso 87, Lester Prairie 43
LESTER PRAIRIE — Wabasso stayed undefeated with a 87-43 win over Lester Prairie in a Tomahawk Division boys basketball game on Tuesday.
Caden Frericks led the Rabbits with 23 points, 23 rebounds and four blocks, while Brayden Guetter had 15 points and four rebounds. Jayden Remiger added 14 points and seven rebounds for Wabasso.
Wabasso (7-0, 5-0) plays at Red Rock Central on Jan. 3.
Cathedral 75, BLHS 61
HECTOR — New Ulm Cathedral downed Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart 75-61 in a Tomahawk Division boys basketball game on Tuesday.
Eli Anderson led the Greyhounds with 46 points, 11 rebounds and five steals, while Quinten Forst had 7 points and nine rebounds. Ryler Collins added 9 points and four assists.
Cayden Wiggins led BLHS with 16 points, while Carter Grunau had 13 points. Cameron McColley added 12 points for the Mustangs.
Cathedral (2-5, 2-3) hosts Mankato Loyola on Jan. 3, while BLHS (0-5, 0-3) hosts Yellow Medicine East on Monday.

BLHS 62, Cathedral 55
HECTOR — Buffalo Lake-Hecto-Stewart downed New Ulm Cathedral 62-55 in a Tomahawk Division girls basketball game on Tuesday.
Lily Hubin led the Mustangs with 23 points, while Callie Hable had 16 points. EB Otto added 9 points.
Jayde Altermatt led the Greyhounds with 25 points, while Shay Wilfahrt had 20 points.
BLHS (4-2, 1-3) plays at Springfield on Jan. 5, while Cathedral (1-5, 1-3) plays at United South Central on Tuesday.
