BELGRADE — Wabasso defeated Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa 48-21 an Quad County 42-26 in a prep wrestling triangular on Tuesday.

Zeke Olson earned his 100th career win during the triangular, while Zach Skoblik earned his 75th career win and Mason Kampsen earned his 50th career win.

Wabasso attends a triangular at Tracy on Thursday, Dec. 11.

Dake wins Buffalo Wild Wings invite

HUTCHINSON — New Ulm Area’s Ellie Dake placed first with four wins, all by fall, at 170 at the Buffalo Wild Wings Hutchinson Girls Invitational on Saturday.

Dake defeated Hopkins’ Jezebel Jamison in the first round with a pin in 52 seconds, then defeated Princeton’s Sophia Lindgren with a pin in 54 seconds. Dake took down Robbinsdale Armstrong’s Julia Brincks by fall in one minute, then in the championship match, defeated Wabasso’s Heidi Foy with a pin in 36 seconds.
