Knights down Saints

ST. JAMES — Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s cruised by St. James Area 83-62 Monday in a nonconference girls basketball game.

Morgan Mathiowetz led the Knights with 43 points, eight rebounds, five assists and five steals, while Olivia Schieffert had 29 points, nine assists, four rebounds and two steals. Brynne Ibberson added 4 points and six steals for St. Mary’s.

St. Mary’s (3-0) plays at Sleepy Eye on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
