Lily Hubin repeats as Tomahawk POTY
The Tomahawk-Valley Conference, All-Tomahawk Division Volleyball awards were revealed on Friday, with Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart senior setter Lily Hubin being named Player of the Year.
Lily Hubin was also the Player of the Year last year and is a repeat unanimous selection. She was joined on the All-Tomahawk team this year by teammates Lauren Hubin, a sophomore outside hitter, senior middle hitter Chloe Schultz and senior defensive specialist Kelsey Ulrich.
Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s had senior setter Josie Helget, junior outside hitter Morgan Mathiowetz and senior outside hitter Reese Hoffmann make the team, while Cedar Mountain had junior setter Kendra Erickson and sophomore middle blocker Reagyn Kleinschmidt make the team. New Ulm Cathedral saw senior outside hitters Shay Wilfahrt and Ava Krueger make the team, while Wabasso had senior setter Sara Carlson, senior libero Audrey Johnson and senior middle hittle Camryn Irlbeck make the team.
Sleepy Eye senior outside hitter Sam Price and Lester Prairie freshman outside hitter Ava LaMott wrapped up the team selections.
Honorable Mention players included Cedar Mountain’s Brynn Hoffbeck and Aubrey Steffl, Cathedral’s Margo Finstad, Lester Prairie’s Kaila Brant and Payton Fransten, Wabasso’s Kenley Guetter and Carly Fenger, Springfield’s Kendall Krueger and Sleepy Eye’s Jaelynn Schauman.
