WINDOM — Windom Area defeated New Ulm 48-14 in a Section 2AAAA Football Tournament game on Tuesday.

Tyshun Brown had a 4-yard touchdown run for the Eagles, while George Gag had a 40-yard touchdown reception from Owen Castleman. Castleman finished with 120 yards passing, while Brown had 24 yards rushing. Crosby Batt had an interception on defense, while Spencer Drill had a fumble recovery.

New Ulm ends its season with a 2-7 record.

LCWM 12, MVL 6

LAKE CRYSTAL — Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial held off Minnesota Valley Lutheran 12-6 in a Section 3AA Football Tournament game on Tuesday.

LCWM won on a touchdown pass with three minutes to play. MVL’s Chase Tweit ran in a 3-yard touchdown to tie the game at 6 earlier in the fourth quarter. All scoring in the game happened in the fourth quarter.

MVL finishes its season with a 1-8 record.
