NEW ULM — New Ulm stayed undefeated with a 2-1 win over St. Peter Tuesday in a Big South Conference boys soccer match.
Jackson Ocampo scored both goals for New Ulm, while Methodius Amoah had an assist. Austin Krohn had four saves.
New Ulm (8-0, 3-0) hosts Marshall on Thursday.

New Ulm 3, St. Peter 3
ST. PETER — New Ulm and St. Peter battled to a 3-3 draw Tuesday in a Big South Conference girls soccer match.
All three New Ulm goals were scored by Jesalyn Skoglund. Elizabeth Dake had nine saves.
New Ulm (5-1-1, 3-0-1) travels to Marshall on Thursday.

St. Mary’s 3, Wabasso 2
SLEEPY EYE — Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s battled back to defeat Wabasso in five sets of a Tomahawk Division volleyball match on Tuesday, winning 17-25, 25-22, 11-25, 26-24, 16-14.
St. Mary’s was led by Reese Hoffmann’s 18 kills and 11 digs, while Morgan Mathiowetz had 15 kills and 15 digs and Kailey Nelson added six kills. Josie Helget had 30 set assists and eight digs, while Natalie Fischer added 15 digs.
For Wabasso, Kenley Guetter had 16 kills and 13 digs, while Leah Mathiowetz had 10 kills, nine digs and two aces and Camryn Irlbeck had nine kills, five total blocks and four aces. Carly Fenger also had nine kills and seven blocks for the Rabbits, while Sara Carlson had 47 assists, four aces and three blocks, Audrey Johnson had 19 digs and Carlee Jenniges added three blocks.
St. Mary’s (7-3, 1-1) is at Springfield for a Tomahawk matchup on Thursday, while Wabasso (2-3, 0-2) hosts Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop on Thursday in Tomahawk action.

SPRINGFIELD — Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart swept Springfield 25-10, 25-13, 25-16 in a Tomahawk Division volleyball match on Tuesday.
Kendall Krueger had eight kills and seven digs for the Tigers, while Delayna Johnson had four kills and an ace. Taylor Roiger had 10 set assists and eight digs, and Sophie Mude had five set assists and six digs. Claire Potter added eight digs.
Springfield (0-4, 0-2) hosts Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s on Thursday.

SLEEPY EYE — Sleepy Eye swept Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop 25-16, 25-10, 25-17 in a Tomahawk Division volleyball match on Tuesday.
Sam Price led the Indians with 15 kills and eight digs, while Hannah Meyer had 16 set assists and four digs. Ava Kunkel had 10 set assists, seven digs and two aces, while Jace Schauman had nine digs and two aces. Callie Evers had seven kills.
For GFW, Kora Schwarzrock had five kills, while Kinley Bruns had eight digs. Ella Nachreiner had four kills and a block, and Maren Kemkes had 10 set assists. Natalie Ahlbrecht added seven set assists and a block.
Sleepy Eye (2-6, 1-1) plays at Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart on Thursday, while GFW (0-4, 0-1) travels to Wabasso on Thursday.

MADELIA — Madelia swept Nicollet 25-13, 25-21, 25-19 in a Valley Division volleyball match on Tuesday.
Makayla Sorenson led the Blackhawks with 10 kills, 11 digs and two aces, while Grace Tatro had four kills, nine digs and two aces. Adrianne Missling had eight set assists and eight digs, and Lauryn Grev had four kills and 13 digs. Emmy Johnson added 16 digs.
No statistics were reported for Nicollet.
Madelia (4-5, 1-0) plays at Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman/Martin Luther on Thursday, while Nicollet (1-4, 0-1) plays at Alden-Conger on Friday.
LCWM 3, Sibley East 0
ARLINGTON — Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial swept Sibley East 25-11, 25-22, 25-14 on Tuesday in a South Central Conference volleyball match.
Sibley East was led by Emme Eccles’ six kills and two aces, while Maelynn Thoele had six kills and a block and Ellie Feterl had three kills. Brooklyn Schultz had 12 digs also for the Wolverines, while Anahii Alvarado added 10 digs and Kennedy Hahn and Anna Colling each had eight set assists.

Sibley East boys take 6th, MVL 14th at Lions cross-country meet
NORWOOD YOUNG AMERICA — Out of 22 complete boys teams at Baylor Park in the Lions Cross-County Meet on Tuesday, the Minnesota Valley Lutheran boys finished 14th (359).
Also from the area, the Sibley East boys took sixth (190), Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s/Sleepy Eye/New Ulm Cathedral took 15th (392) and Madelia took 19th (453). Rockford won the boys team race with 80 points.
Leading the MVL boys was Jeremy Feistner and Titus Kohls, who took 20th (17:16, PR) and 33rd (17:39.3, PR), respectively. The Sibley East boys were led by Julio Alejandro (9th, 16:39.69, PR) and Gage Horstman (11th, 16:47.4, PR). The SM/SE/NUC boys were led by Levi Hagen (38th, 18:00.85) and Max Fischer (42nd, 18:06.12, PR). Madelia was led by Tyrone Stout (49th, 18:23.29) and Caleb DeCann (76th, 19:00.11).
Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop, while incomplete as a team, saw Juan Sunun-Perez lead the Firebirds with a 59th-place finish (18:35.95, PR).
The girls side of the race, which had 17 complete teams, was won by St. Peter (49), while GFW took 12th (311) and MVL took 13th (330).
MVL was led by Natalie Matzke, who took seventh with a PR time of 19:42.24. Faith Peters also had a PR time of 21:42.77 for MVL as she took 41st.
The Sibley East girls were led by Paige Gardiner (11th, 20:02.37) and Claire Bauer (69th, 22:40.21), while GFW was led by Lucy Dvorak (28th, 21:13.85 PR) and Madyson Steele (65th, 22:37.47). SM/SE/NUC was led by Emma Hagen (34th, 21:33.04) and Mille Lax (52nd, 22:04.65).
