Raiders fall in overtime to RCW
DANUBE — Despite 270 total yards of offense from Nicollet Raiders quarterback Henry Oscarson, the Raid- ers came up just short in the end to Renville County West on Friday as they fell 30-22 in overtime in a Nine-Man South District, West Subdis- trict football game.
Oscarson completed 24 of 41 passes for 195 yards and a touchdown while adding 18 carries for 75 yards and a score. Talan Osborne also
had 10 carries for 64 yards and a touchdown for the Raiders. Oscarson’s top target on
the day was Colton Rengstorf, who had 12 receptions for 116 yards, while AJ Kramer had five catches for 32 yards and a TD. Henry Kennedy also had three catches for 23 yards, while Osborne had three catches for 18 yards and Carson Kettner had a 6-yard TD grab. Oscarson also had a 2-point conversion run and 2-point conversion throw to
Kettner.
On defense, the Raiders were led by Osborne’s 21 total tackles, while Oscarson had 15 total tackles and a forced fumble. Rengstorf, Matt Klingerman and Kramer each had eight tackles, with Kramer adding a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Kettner also had an interception and five tackles, while Abe Madson recovered a fumble and had five tackles and Jordan Goettlicher had
five tackles.
