MANKATO — New Ulm fell to Mankato East 7-0 in the opening girls tennis meet of the season on Thursday.

New Ulm did not win a set on the day. No. 3 singles Lily Kral, No. 4 singles Avah Kruse and No. 2 doubles team Lydia Osborne and Maggie Joyce all won a game in both of their two sets.

New Ulm (0-1) hosts a triangular against Fairmont and Le Sueur-Henderson on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
