The New Ulm Vipers 12U team, pictured above, took second place in the MN State Qualifier at Caswell in Mankato. The team defeated USC 5-0, Medford 6-5, Fairmont 10-2, and St. Peter 13-0 before falling to MCW 4-3. New Ulm came back with a win against Medford 12-4 to get them into the championship game. New Ulm played MCW in the championship game, losing 5-1 and taking home second place.

The New Ulm Vipers 12U Berdan team, pictured above, took second place at the Minnesota State Qualifier that was in Owatonna on Saturday, June 28, and then Mankato on Sunday, June 29. New Ulm defeated Mankato Chronic in their first game 9-1, moving on and falling to St. Peter 9-3. New Ulm then made their way back through the losers bracket defeating Blooming Prairie 15-5, Waseca 10-1, the Chaos 8-0, Lake Crystal 5-3 and coming face to face with St. Peter again (who had no losses) in the Championship game winning 5-3 giving both teams a loss and moving into another game and New Ulm falling short 9-3. New Ulm is currently 24-4 with their season and will travel to Gaylord and JWP next week for their final league games of the season and then the Minnesota State Tournament July 12-13.
