SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Sleepy Eye Junior Legion defeated Harrisburg 15-7 in five innings in a junior legion baseball tournament game Friday.

Eric Lozano was the winning pitcher, striking out three while allowing six runs on six hits. At the plate, Merrick Mathiowetz was 3 for 4 with two RBIs and two runs scored, while Carson Uecker was 3 for 3 with four RBIs and two runs scored. Karter Haala had a hit and three RBIs, while Jaxon Saenz, Jacob Fulmer and Chase Zufall each had a hit and an RBI.
