OMAHA, Neb. — The New Ulm Legion Gold ended its time in an Omaha legion baseball tournament on Wednesday by downing Northside Minneapolis 10-3.

Jake Finstad led the Gold bats by going 2 for 3 with a double, an RBI, a walk and three runs scored, while Elliot Schabert was 2 for 4 with a double and four RBIs. Parker Neubauer also added two RBIs and two runs scored for Gold, while Caleb Forstner and Ben Alfred each had a single. Alfred also drew two walks and scored two runs.

Kolton Achman got the complete-game win on the mound, allowing three hits and four walks for two earned runs while striking out eight.

Gold (2-2) will return to Minnesota and play at Hutchinson on Friday.
