Cullen Slette is the first recipient of the Doug Bode Athletic Scholarship which honors exceptional character, leadership and dedication to New Ulm Baseball as well as academic excellence.  Doug was a lifelong New Ulm resident and business owner. Doug is a New Ulm Baseball Hall of Fame member having excelled as a catcher and .300 hitter in high school, Legion and amateur baseball.  Pictured with Slette is Doug’s daughter Heather and family, widow Diane, and daughter Heather and son.
