ST. PETER — The New Ulm Eagles boys tennis team finished its 2025 season at the Section 2AA Individual Boys Tennis Tournament on Saturday at Gustavus Adolphus College.

The New Ulm doubles team of Charlie Weidman and Dan Brownfield opened the tournament with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Mankato East’s Jon Bergquist and Vaughn Wemsing before falling to Tarun Gopi and Dallas Handevidt of Prior lake 7-6 (2), 6-1.

Also getting wins on Saturday for New Ulm were Ian Schotzko and Wyatt Feucht. Schotzko opened singles play with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Worthington’s Bennett Oberloh before falling to Anuj Priyadarshi of Shakopee 6-0, 6-0. Feucht defeated Kaw Blay of Worthington 6-1, 6-0 in the first round of singles action before falling to Desmond Johnson of Mankato West 6-1, 6-1.
