NEW ULM — New Ulm Cathedral is honoring the 20th anniversary of their 2005 Minnesota State Class A Baseball State Champions prior to their 5 p.m. game against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton at Johnson Park on Friday.

Players on that 2005 team include Jeff Schnobrich, Dan Drexler, Scott Knisley, Gary Wilfhart, Kyle Reinarts, Tom Fischer, Ben Wolf, Sam Verschaetse, Jack Langer, Josh Sabatino, Ryan Turbes, Adam Neubauer, Tyler Zollner, and Ryan Bauer.

Head coach was Bob Weier and Assistant coachs Sam Clyne and Eric Kaufmann

The Greyhounds team finished with a 24-2 record and won Section 2A and the Tomahawk Conference.
