Walter turned in a final-round score of 96 at the Tomahawk-Valley Conference Girls Golf Tournament on Monday at Farmer’s Golf & Health Club, giving her a fifth-place tie on the day and a fourth-place finish overall in the tournament. The Sleepy Eye United senior also helped her team finish the tournament as conference champions.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: I love spaghetti. Any type of pasta, I’m having it at my grad party. I love it. Cold past, hot pasta, I don’t care, noodles and sauce [laughs].

Q: Who is your favorite golfer?

A: I do like Rory McIlroy, I think it’s cool that he won [The Masters], but I don’t really watch golf. My dad’s my favorite golfer to watch, put that, he’d like that.

Q: What club in your set do you have the most success with on the golf course?

A: My 7 iron. I love my 7 iron. That one’s been good to me, and my putter.

Q: What is your favorite musical genre?

A: R&B. I like SZA.

Q: What is your favorite movie?

A: Hocus Pocus. I love that movie. I like other scary movies, but Hocus Pocus is my favorite. Hocus Pocus and Monster’s Inc.
