MILROY — While the Springfield Tigers kept their unbeaten streak in tact early on Saturday afternoon by shutting out Madelia 6-0, errors and a lack of offense hurt them in a later game against Luverne as the Cardinals gave Springfield its first loss of the season during a Milroy baseball invite at Irish Yard.

Earlier in the day, Madelia fell to Minneota 13-3 in seven innings, with the Vikings scoring four runs in the top of the seventh to complete the scoring.
