Tomahawk-Valley, All-Tomahawk Division Volleyball announced
Hubin earns POTY honors
The Tomahawk-Valley Conference, All-Tomahawk Division volleyball honors were announced this past Friday, with Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart’s Lily Hubin taking Player of the Year honors.
The unanimous junior setter was joined by teammates Chloe Schultz and Kelsey Ulrich on the All-Tomahawk team, along with Wabasso’s Sara Carlson, Camryn Irlbeck, Audrey Johnson and Alivia Olson. Also on the team was Sleepy Eye St. Marys’ Josie Helget, Reese Hoffmann and Morgan Mathiowetz, while Cedar Mountain saw Kendra Erickson and Reagyn Kleinschmidt make the team. New Ulm Cathedral’s Shay Wilfahrt and Jaylin Hartness also made the team, along with Lester Prairie’s Ava LaMott and Sleepy Eye’s Sam Price.
Earning Honorable Mention was BLHS’s Jamie Novotny, Wabasso’s Carly Fenger, St. Marys’ Amelia Schwartz, Cedar Mountain’s Aubrey Steffl, Cathedral’s Ava Krueger, Lester Prairie’s Sophia Shackelton, Springfield’s Jasmine Novotny and Teagan Steffl and Sleepy Eye’s Paige Haala.
BLHS’s Aaron Hubin was named the Coach of the Year with a perfect 8-0 record in the Tomahawk Division.
