ARLINGTON — Brandon Beckendorf won the Ottomotive Tire & Repair IMCA Modified feature at Arlington Raceway on Saturday.

There were three different leaders in the Ottomotive Tire & Repair IMCA Modified feature in remembrance of Jeff Rucks. Loverude drew #1 and started on the pole, Clint Hatlestad who started in the second row moved right to the front with him, by the eighth lap, Hatlestad was the leader but only for two laps as Loverude retook the position.

A yellow came out for a spinning car and on the restart, Hatlestad was in second behind Loverude once again, but Brandon Beckendorf was also in the mix. Three laps later Beckendorf put the pressure on and as they were coming in for the white flag, it was Beckendorf leading the pack. He held on for the win with Loverude taking second, Hatlestad in third and Dalton Magers taking fourth.

Earlier in the night, Jonathan Schroeder was the first lap leader in the Jack Pines Resort IMCA Hobby feature but by the second time around, Brett McConnell was at the point. He was being challenged by Ben Davis and Chad Volk but a yellow flag came out and McConnell went to the work area. He rejoined the field but two laps later went into the pit area.

The race was then controlled by Cory Probst, who led the remaining laps to win. Brad Becker got around Chad Volk and Jordan Robinson but wasn’t able to get by Probst and settled for second.

The entire Coors Light IMCA Sport Compact race was led and won by Gary Grabill, who started on the front row and won the race. Alan Lahr took second and Gary Schumacher took third, gaining six positions in the race.

Craig Groebner started in pole position and led the first half of the eXmark Outlaw feature until Dan Eckblad, who had started in ninth place was challenging for the lead. By the ninth lap, he passed eight cars and got around Groebner, who left the race and then was battling with Rod Manthey. Manthey settled for second ahead of Karl Hewitt Jr.

Bill Johnson won the Rice Companies IMCA RaceSaver feature, with Matt Johnson taking second and Brett Allen taking third.

Matt Looft was the winner of the Arlington State Bank IMCA Sport Modified feature.

The B&B Racing Chassis IMCA Stock Car feature saw 26 cars start the feature and side by side, 3 and 4 wide racing throughout. Luke Trebelhorn led every lap except the one that counted as Shaun Bruns got below him and won the race at the finish line by inches.
