SLEEPY EYE – The Region 2C Amateur Baseball Tournament continues Saturday with a slate of games at Sleepy Eye Ballpark.

The first game of the day will see the No. 9 Essig Bluejays taking on the No. 1 New Ulm Brewers, followed by a 1:30 p.m. game between the No. 5 Hanska Lakers and the No. 4 Springfield Tigers. The No. 6 Lamberton Long Sox then take on the No. 3 Courtland Cubs at 4 p.m. before the No. 7 Stark Longhorns face the No. 2 Leavenworth Orioles in the nightcap at 7 p.m.

Region 2C elimination bracket games continue then on Sunday in New Ulm at Johnson Park.

NOTE: The area schedule in Friday’s issue of The Journal had incorrect locations listed for this weekend’s games. Saturday games will all take place in Sleepy Eye, while Sunday’s games take place in New Ulm.
