Sleepy Eye Junior Legion sweep Jordan

SLEEPY EYE — Sleepy Eye Junior Legion swept a doubleheader against Jordan Monday, winning 10-0 in five innings Game 1 and 9-4 in Game 2.

Damian Sanchez was the winning pitcher in Game 1, allowing one hit and striking out three in three innings of work. At the plate, Tyler Mathiowetz had a triple with an RBI while Merrick Mathiowetz was 1 for 3 with two RBIs.

Kessler Severson got the win in Game 2, striking out six with two earned runs in four innings. At the plate, Landon Wendinger was 3 for 4 with two RBIs.
