Sleepy Eye Legion defeat Wells Sunday

SLEEPY EYE — The Sleepy Eye Legion Post 7 baseball team defeated Wells 5-1 on Sunday in a legion baseball game.

Talan Helget got the win in three innings, allowing two hits and a run while striking out five. Arian Saenz pitched four shutout innings in relief, striking out three. Jon Petermann was 1 for 3 with a run for Post 7, while Mark Anderson had a double and Cody Schultz had an RBI.
