REDWOOD FALLS — New Ulm took down Waseca on Saturday afternoon in a Big South Conference Boys Basketball Showcase at Redwood Valley High School, winning 83-75.

The win means New Ulm will host a Big South Conference title game against Worthington at 7 p.m. Monday.

Colton Benson led the way for the Eagles in the win with 26 points, while Nate Firle and James Osborne each scored 18 points. Will Fossen and Zach Hubbard also each had 8 points for New Ulm, now 18-7 on the season.

Worthington defeated Redwood Valley 79-73 on Saturday to advance to Monday’s game.
