NEW ULM — The New Ulm Brewers received a first-round by in the Class C Minnesota State Amateur Baseball Tournament, which begins this Friday in Faribault and Dundas.

The Brewers, the Region 2C champions, will begin their time in the tournament at 11 a.m. on Aug. 27 in Dundas by taking on the winner of this Saturday’s Montgomery vs. Elrosa game.

Prior to its state tournament appearance, New Ulm will be hosting Class B state entrant Dundas at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at Mueller Park.
