SEARLES — The Searles Grizzlies junior bi-county team played a doubleheader with Essig on Wednesday night, winning the first game 11-1 in five innings and winning 6-5 in Game 2.

Jackson Haala pitched all five innings in the first game, allowing one run and striking out 10. Jared Beranek had four RBIs, while Myloe Thordson had three RBIs.

Austin Enter pitched five innings in Game 2 for Searles, allowing five runs with seven strikeouts. Haala had three RBIs, while Andrew Meyer had two RBIs.
