NEW ULM — The New Ulm Brewers open their home Tomahawk East League season at 5 p.m. on Sunday at Johnson Park when they host the Leavenworth Orioles.

It is also “KNUJ Day” as Tom Wheeler and KNUJ will be broadcasting the game.

There will also the normal great concession stand food — hamburgers, cheeseburgers, brats, hot dogs, onion rings, cheese curds, mini-doughnuts, french fries — but Sunday will also feature Linda Flor’s homemade sauerkraut and german potato salad.

Also KNUJ Radio will be giving away Minnesota Twins tickets and St. Paul Saints tickets at the game.

In addition, the New Ulm Steel will be giving away a $25 merchandise certificates and four Steel home game tickets this season.

As always it is FREE admission.

Gates will open at 4 p.m. Sunday.
