SLEEPY EYE — The Sleepy Eye girls’ basketball team coasted to a 72-25 win over Cleveland on Saturday on the final day of the Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s Tip-Off Invite at St. Mary’s High School.

The Indians (2-0) were led by Kadence Hesse’s 19 points, four steals and four assists, while Kaydince Thoms had 19 points, six rebounds and four steals. Brea Mertz had 14 points and nine rebounds also for Sleepy Eye, while Jazzibelle Martinez had 10 points and four assists.
