STARK — Springfield defeated Stark 8-3 on Wednesday night in Tomahawk East League amateur baseball action.

Ryan Sturm led the Tigers at the plate, going 3 for 5 with three RBIs, while Isaac Fink added two hits and an RBI. Justin Haugo earned the win in seven innings, giving up seven hits and a walk for three earned runs while striking out 13.

Stark was led by Brandon Helget and David Surprenant, who each had two hits. One of Surprenant’s hits was a homer. Zach Haala took the loss in six innings, giving up 10 hits and two walks for seven earned runs. He struck out two.
