HUTCHINSON — New Ulm Legion Gold shut out Hutchinson 7-0 on Tuesday in legion baseball action.

Josh Giefer took the win in five innings for Gold, giving up four hits and one walk while fanning two. Jaden Drill pitched two innings of hitless ball while giving up one walk.

Jack Albrecht went 3 for 3 with an RBI, while Hunter Sehr went 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI to lead Gold’s offense. Carter Lang was 2 for 3 with a homer and two RBIs also for Gold, while Tony Geiger was 2 for 3.

Gold hosts Willmar on Friday at Johnson Park.
