NEW ULM — New Ulm VFW Silver topped Maple River 12-11 on Wednesday night at Mueller Park in a VFW baseball game.

New Ulm had 14 hits and was led at the plate by Zack Riederer and Blaine Olsen, who each had three hits. Riederer also scored three runs and stole two bases. Logan Keilkamp was 2 for 4 with a triple and two RBIs for Silver, while Kaden Larson was 2 for 4 with a triple.

Lucas Suess picked up the win for Silver in 5 2/3 innings, allowing five runs.
