Hockey resumes this Thursday at civic center

NEW ULM — Hockey gets back into action this Thursday and Friday at the New Ulm Civic Center when the New Ulm girls’ hockey team and the New Ulm Steel return to the ice.

Thursday the Eagles host Willmar at 7 p.m. and Friday the Steel entertain Granite City at 7:10 p.m. in a NA3HL game.

Both the New Ulm girls and the Steel game will be allowed a maximum of 150 fans.

Those planning on attending the Eagles’ hockey game Thursday you must pre-register via email to Jkral@newulm.k12.mn.us to get a pass.

Friday night the first 150 fans will be allowed in for the Steel game.

The Steel will resume their regular schedule next week and games that were postponed due to the shutdown will be made up at later dates on off days.

On Saturday, the New Ulm boys’ basketball team hosts St. James at 7:15 p.m.

Again, all fans who want to attend must register with Kral for a pass with 150 maximum allowed.

In all games, masks are required as is social distancing.

All high school activities at NUHS will require pre-registration to attend.
