New Ulm girls defeat Mankato Loyola 6-0

MANKATO — The New Ulm girls’ soccer team blanked Mankato Loyola 6-0 on Tuesday in a Big South Conference girls’ soccer game.

Livia Reinarts scored New Ulm’s first goal of the game on an assist from Paige Kalis and she scored again on an assist from Sydney Owens. Anne Howard scored New Ulm’s third goal off of an assist from Kalis to put New Ulm ahead 3-0 at halftime.

In the second half, Kalis scored off of an assist from Howard and Howard assisted Bryn Nesvold’s goal to make it 5-0. Alexis Rustin scored New Ulm’s final goal on a penalty kick.

Arianna Dreyer made five saves for New Ulm and Kendra Nesvold had one save. New Ulm had 13 shots on goal for the game.
