WINTHROP — Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop downed Sleepy Eye 86-54 on Tuesday night in a Tomahawk Conference boys’ basketball game.
The Thunderbirds were led by Tylor Hopp’s 18 points, while Dominic Henrichs and Damian Hopp each added 15 points. Ethan Schwarzrock added 12 points for GFW.
The Indians were led be Kegan Heiderscheidt’s 33 points, while Matt Sellner added 7 points.
Madelia 73, USC 71, OT
WELLS — Madelia defeated United South Central 73-71 on Tuesday in a nonconference boys’ basketball game.
Madelia was led by Ja’Sean Glover with 41 points, 12 rebounds, two steals and two assists and Kurt Lugo with 14 points and six rebounds.
Madelia (9-14) hosts Edgerton at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
