WILLMAR — Nick Wieben’s two-goal night helped lead the New Ulm Steel past the Willmar WarHawks 7-3 on Saturday night in NA3HL action.

Wieben also had three assists, while Jacob Halvorson, Keegan Bauman, Corey Stormer, Marcus Mark and Michael Savelkoul added a goal apiece. David Smidt and Halvorson each added two helpers for the Steel.

Zac Hattan got the win in net for New Ulm, making 49 saves.

Eli Slagter led Willmar with two goals, while Robin Praetz added a goal.

New Ulm hosts Granite City at 7:10 p.m. Friday.
