MADELIA — The St. Mary’s/Sleepy Eye/New Ulm Cathedral cross-country team competed at a Madelia meet on a cold and windy Thursday evening, boasting three top 10 finishers despite the tough conditions.

For the girls’ varsity team, Clare Fischer took third with a time of 20:28.6, while Nate Fliszar finished seventh for the boys’ varsity team with a time of 18:21.9 and Joshua Hagen took eighth with a time of 18:35.7.
