NEW ULM — Hutchinson shut out New Ulm 7-0 on Friday morning in a nonconference girls’ tennis match.

In No. 1 singles action, Haley Knorr topped Abby Hietala 6-0, 6-1, while in No. 2 singles action, Britta Johnson defeated Malia Emerson 6-1, 6-2. In No. 3 singles, Alex Hantge defeated Lydia King 6-1, 6-0, while Sabrina Tracy beat Alex Vigil 6-0, 6-0 in No. 4 singles.

In No. 1 doubles action, Maggie Eckhard and Ellie Campbell defeated Bethany Janssen and Lauren Mages 6-2, 6-3, while in No. 2 doubles, Meredith Girard and Paige Telecky beat Ellie Wilker and Marrisa Todesco 6-2, 6-0.

In No. 3 doubles action, Marlee Harlander and Ellie Peterson beat Katie Wilker and Maddie Nelson 6-2, 6-0.

New Ulm (1-4) next plays at Sleepy Eye on Thursday.
