SPRINGFIELD — Springfield wrapped up Region 2C play with a 9-3 victory over Hanska on Saturday.

Springfield ended 2C play with a 2-3 record and Hanska finished 1-4.

Isaac Fink was 2 for 4 with two RBIs and two runs scored for the Tigers. Mason Rummel had two RBIs and Decker Scheffler scored two runs. Kale Meendering was 2 for 5 with a double, a run scored and an RBI.

Lucas Fredin was 2 for 4 to lead the Lakers.

Henry Scheitel pitched two innings to earn the win for the Tigers. Cole Wellmann pitched three innings in the loss, giving up four runs on five hits.
