ESSIG — The Lamberton Long Sox topped the Essig Bluejays 3-0 on Sunday in Tomahawk East League amateur baseball action.

Johnny Pistulka got the complete-game win for Lamberton, striking out 10 while allowing six hits and one walk.

Neil Eichten was 2 for 5 with a pair of RBIs and a triple for Lamberton, while Pistulka, Isaac Jenniges and Jake Wahl each added a double.

Jay Helget took the loss for Essig, pitching 7 1/3 innings and allowing two earned runs, four hits and four walks. He struck out seven.

Erich Prokosch and Alex Guggisberg each went 2 for 4 for Essig, while Nolan Drill added a double.
