WORTHINGTON — On Day 2 of the Section 3A Golf Meet at Great Life Golf Club, Wabasso saw its boy golfers fall short of reaching the state meet.

For the Rabbits, Jayden Carlson shot a 103, while Jayden Goblish shot a 107, Tristan Kuehn shot a 108, Justin Bernardy shot a 117, Caden Filzen shot a 128 and Collin Rohlik shot a 134. Kuehn’s 108 on Day 2 gave him a final section score of 197, good enough for 13th place, six total strokes under the final individual state qualifier.

The entire Wabasso boys’ team reached Day 2 after finishing second on Day 1 of the meet as a team with a score of 386. Wabasso shot a 435 on Day 2 as a team to finish fourth overall.
