Power Points football contest

The Journal, along with dozens of other newspapers around the country, will carry this year’s POWER POINTS Football Contest, a weekly reader game featuring a national grand prize of up to $1,000 weekly. In addition, The Journal will provide a local prize of $10 chamber bucks to the local winner each week.

The points add up to 136. The contestant from the participating newspapers who tallies the most of those 136 wins the grand prize. The person locally who tallies the most of those 136 wins the local prize.
