TRACY — The St. Mary’s/Sleepy Eye/New Ulm Cathedral cross-country team ran in a meet on Friday, with the boys’ and girls’ team both taking eighth out of 10 teams.

For the girls, Abigail Hagen medaled by finishing seventh for the girls with a time of 21:49. The next best time for the girls’ team was by Kira DeMaris, who finished with a 26:39.

Josh Hagen ran a 19:48 for the boys, while Ethan Kirchberg ran a 20:10 and Nate Fliszar ran a 20:18.

Seven SM/SE/NUC students earned personal bests on Friday: McKenna Dockter (28:23), Elle Kyllonen (10:25 JH 2K), Ellen Windschitl (10:38 JH 2K), Elliot Hoffman (22:41), Garrett Grathwohl (22:36), Charlie Macho (23:33) and Jaden Oglesby (11:24 JH 2K).
