LAMBERTON — The Hanska Lakers won the Region 2C amateur baseball tournament with a 4-2 victory over Lamberton on Saturday.

Dayton Larson went the distance to earn the win for the Lakers.

The win for Hanska means that the Lakers will receive a first-round bye in the state tournament, which begins August 17. The tournament will be held in New Prague, Shakopee and Jordan. Lamberton will be the No. 2 seed and Sleepy Eye will get the No. 3 seed from the regional tournament.
