NEW ULM – The New Ulm Brewers defeated Brownton 9-0 Friday in a non-league game at Johnson Park.

Adam Slander got the win for New Um. He went six innings and struck out seven while allowing two hits.

Nick Fischer pitched two innings and fanned five with Dylan Klein finishing the ninth inning.

Wayne Kjus took the loss for the Bruins. He went five innings and was charged with four runs.

Landon Rewitzer, Wade French and Corey Schaefer each had two hits for New Ulm.
