V-Hawks top Knights 66-56
Schultz moves into third place in program history in career points
NEW ULM – The Martin Luther College women’s basketball team was unable to overcome a halftime deficit in a 66-56 loss to Viterbo on Saturday.
The V-Hawks took control of the game early in the second quarter and built a 35-22 halftime lead.
MLC cut the deficit into single digits early in the fourth quarter, but was unable to get closer than 7 the rest of the way.
Jade St. Germaine led MLC with 16 points and a pair of blocks. Grace Schultz added 13 points, eight rebounds and three assists.
With her 13 points, Schultz moved into third place in program history with 944 career points.
